The Payroll and Pension Administration is a department within the Shared Service Center under the management of Regionservice. We are 23 employees working together in various teams with payroll administration, pension administration, system management of the payroll system, and personnel statistics.
We strive to be at the forefront and therefore work extensively on digitizing and continuously developing our operations. Our focus is to create security, structure, and uniformity in the areas we work with quality and good routines.
Our working method is characterized by high service awareness and professionalism with the customer in focus.

Payroll Controller for the Payroll & Pension Administration DepartmentJob ResponsibilitiesYou will work with the entire payroll process; calculating overtime, travel expenses, vacation pay, compensation for parental leave and sickness. The Payroll Controller sets up new employees who are hired within Region Örebro County and ensures that all documents received by us are correct so that the payroll is accurate. You will be a support to managers and employees in payroll administrative matters and actively participate in the development of the payroll process. You will issue certificates and send information to the Social Insurance Agency and the Tax Agency as needed. We have a payroll support service by phone that is open every weekday and is part of the job. Quality and development work for the entire department is also included.

QualificationsA background in payroll is a requirement, vocational education or equivalent training that we assess as comparable. It is an advantage if you have experience with our personnel system Heroma, as well as experience with Hogia since we process some payroll there.
We work in a case management system, so we prefer that you are familiar with several different data systems, in addition to payroll systems.
We expect you to have an efficient working method and that you handle both the Office suite and Outlook well. You should be able to interpret laws and collective agreements to stay updated in the field and provide accurate information. We work based on the collective agreement General Provisions (AB).
To thrive with us, it is important that you are a team player and have a transparent working method, as well as being self-driven and proactive within your own area of responsibility. You have good pedagogical and communicative skills to explain and discuss the payroll process over the phone so that employees understand their salary.
You should be able to express yourself well in both speech and writing. Providing the right service in a pleasant manner is incredibly important for the department. You enjoy collaborating with others and sharing your expertise.
We will place great emphasis on personal suitability, your ability to collaborate in a team, and fitting in as a player in our payroll teams.
